It is generally believed that the single-sheet rolling speed of aluminium foil paper should reach 80% of the rolling design speed. Haomei Aluminium introduced a 1500mm four-roller irreversible aluminum foil roughing mill from Germany ACIIENACH with a design speed of 2000m/min. The rolling speed of the thick aluminum foil is basically at the level of 600m/miT, and the domestic single sheeting speed is generally 60% to 70% of the juice setting speed.

Aluminium foil paper often encounters problems such as wrinkling, cascading, drumming, and poor shape during high-speed rolling. Any defects may cause problems such as scrapping the next pass and a significant drop in the yield. The author made some qualitative analysis on the phenomenon of aluminum coiling encountered in high-speed rolling production. In the production of double-sheet foil, the rolling process of aluminium foil paper is divided into three processes: rough rolling, medium rolling and finishing rolling. From the perspective of process aluminium foil paper can be roughly divided from the thickness of the rolling outlet, namely aluminium foil thickness. The general method is that the thickness of the outlet is greater than or equal to 0.05 mm for rough rolling, between 0.013 and 0.05 for medium rolling, and less than 0.013 mm finish rolling.

The rough rolling is similar to the rolling characteristics of the aluminum foil roll. The thickness control mainly depends on the rolling force and the back tension. The rough rolling processing rate is very small. The rolling characteristics are completely different from the rolling of the aluminium strip and the aluminum foil rolling. The special characteristics are mainly characterized by the following aspects: aluminum strip rolling, rolling and speed effect. In the aluminum foil rolling process, the phenomenon that the thickness of the foil becomes thinner with the degree of rolling degree is called the velocity effect.
