1. Roll Collapse: The core of the aluminum coil coated is severely deformed, and the roll is not round.

2. Warping: After rolling or shearing, the edge of a roll is lifted.

3. Uneven layer: Irregular displacement appears between layers of an aluminum coil roll, resulting in uneven end surface.

4. Loose rolls: Looseness between layers and layers during coiling and unwinding, which affects the entire volume in severe cases.

5. Side bending: The longitudinal side of a coil roll presents a non-flat state of bending to a side.

6. The composite layer is detached: the irregular problem of the aluminum-clad layer of the composite material leaving the substrate and falling off.

7. Embossing: Due to the wrinkles and uncontinuous processing, the irregular color difference of the roll surface is periodically printed on the surface of a roll during the rolling process.

8. Bird’s nest: A local “V” type problem occurs on the end face of the coil. This problem occurs during or after the coil take-up process, and some are generated after a certain period of time.

9. Wave: A general term for various unevenness phenomena caused by uneven deformation of a plate or a roll. The generated waves are called side waves, the waves generated in the middle are called intermediate waves, and the waves between the middle and the sides that are neither in the middle nor on both sides are called two-ribbed waves, which are small in size and usually circular. Waves are called broken waves.

Color coated aluminum coil rolls are a new type of aluminium product in recent years, and their process is not so mature as that of plain aluminium sheets or materials.
